For your safety and comfort you should only receive TRE ® guidance from certified individuals. Please do not receive TRE® guidance from anyone who is not certified and listed on this website or on www.traumaprevention.com. Although the exercises evoke tremors easily, the ability to understand and safely guide a person through a successful completion of a session is more complex. The goal of providing you with certified TRE® Providers is to ensure you have a safe, pleasant and positive experience.
A TRE® Certification Trainer is qualified to teach, supervise and certify people to be TRE® Providers. A certified TRE® Provider is qualified to take both individuals and groups through the TRE Process. A certified TRE® (Level I) Practitioner is qualified to take individuals one-on-one through the TRE® Process.

“The body keeps the score” – Bessel van der Kolk
This is something I have realized more and more over the past couple years.
Being somebody who could not even climb out of my car without pain in the muscles and joints. Not being able to lift my arms higher than my shoulders because of pain, to a person who is enjoying the journey once again of exercise and the outdoors is a miracle by itself.
I started my journey with body work as a Body stress release practitioner, coming out of the “rat race” into the realization of the body does surely keeps the score, no matter if it is because of a physical, emotion or a chemical reason, your body will always try to cope with your situation.
My “working toolbox” got a lot bigger when I added the Australian based technique, Emmett Therapies. A phenomenal technique which is seen by many around the globe as the “missing link” in body work. A very good all-round technique not just addressing pain and discomfort, but also release tension stored in the fascia. Today I am not just practicing this technique, but also have the privilege to teach others this technique via a short day course, where you will learn 10 moves making a difference immediately in your life and practice.
By adding TRE® to the “toolkit” I see it as a complete circle, not just working on the body from the outside, but also from the inside. With TRE® focusing on the nervous system and helping the body to release trauma stored within the nervous system, I can also use the body work therapy (Emmett Therapies) as a fantastic way to loosen up the fascia, providing a better environment in the body for the neurogenic tremor to release stored tension.
HANNEKE MASCHKE – LUBBE
Counselor, Focusing on Loss and Bereavement,
Phone: 076 9129490
I am a qualified Counselor supporting people through difficult times in their lives. I mainly work with loss and grief – but seeing grief as a resource for personal transformation. Loss, which could be significant or subtle, is a common experience that every person encounters during his or her lifetime. We all experience it – and therefore we can learn to accept and integrate that in our life in a constructive way.
TRE is a lovely way I use to assist the body to let go of stress and trauma and re-establish a person’s equilibrium and return them to an emotionally healthy place. I also work as part of a team of complementary therapists in the Red Cross Hospital with children and their families.
