I grew up knowing that my career and life purpose would be deeply connected. My interest and passion in helping and teaching did not translate into the traditional pathway of teacher or nurse, but instead I have journeyed a 25 year career in the training and personal development field and since 2011 has integrated deeper process facilitation and healing practices into my own life and approach in my work.
I am a skilled and experienced facilitator, creating and holding spaces for learning, healing, growth and development of individuals and groups ranging from local government, to corporate and the NGO sectors.
I am a TRE® Certification Trainer trainee and works full time in TRE® Practice since early 2015, using my skills and experience in TRE® along with Basic Gestalt Counselling practice and Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC) to offer an integrative approach to releasing and healing tension, stress and trauma. I am an active member in the TRE® community, assisting in the training and supervision of TRE® Providers and I serve on the board of the TRE® for Africa Foundation, a Non-Profit Trust, established to create awareness of and introducing TRE® to communities in South Africa.
I also contribute to the gender reconciliation work of an NPO, called GenderWorks, as a Gender Reconciliation process facilitator and as well in an operational capacity, promoting and supporting the work of the organisation. I also serve on the GenderWorks Council.
“Being strongly grounded in my purpose of facilitating healing and empowerment within communities, I especially love working with women and youth. With a strong connection to and belief in the power of doing service, I volunteer some of my time and skills weekly to contribute meaningfully to women’s groups and youth organisations.”
The next TRE Provider Training will take place in August 2018
