BEng (Civil), MA Psychology
My journey with TRE® started in 2011 and motivated me to study psychology to enable me to do research about trauma. My master’s thesis in psychology was inspired by the secondary trauma and distress that psychologists face in their profession. I believe that all practitioners of people-oriented professions can benefit from TRE® as a somatic self-care tool.
Having faced an early breast cancer diagnosis in 2022, I was reminded that life-long stress release is imperative. This is especially true through periods of intense challenges. And it is more than okay to seek help when going through a rough patch.
A series of 4-6 facilitated TRE® sessions can empower you to become comfortable in using this modality on your own. Additional facilitated sessions are helpful when you face new challenges or need assistance in breaking through a pattern that seems stuck.
